Ashley Peterson lends entrepreneurial mentorship to empowerment program, “Princess for a Day,” a comprehensive program providing lessons on etiquette and poise designed to impact young children.
“We rehearse for about five months. We teach them etiquette and poise. In March, they’re ready to walk the red carpet and they’re all crowned princess for a day,” explains Princess for a Day founder, Coressa Williams.
“(Ashley Peterson) She’s a rockstar. She’s the wife of Adrian Peterson of the Washington Redskins, but she brings so much to the table. She has her own business line, so at the last workshop we gave her the opportunity to talk to them about being confident enough to build (their dreams). She shared with them some tidbits and just some confidence builders to find (their) passion and going forth in that. So she’s been a huge asset to our program and has been amazing.”
Ashley Peterson, co-founder of A & A Peterson Family Foundation, reflected on the importance of positive mentorship in her youth.
